Construction

Blade :
The blade is made from surgical-grade stainless steel. It is lasercut, milled and bent in the annealed condition, then precipitation heat-treated to maximum strength, hardness and wear-resistance. After polishing, it is ready for a lifetime of use. The blade will not bend or break no matter how much force is applied during use, yet it can be sharpened from time to time with a file.

Handle :
The handle is made from sustainable timber from the New Zealand Silver Beech tree. After lamination, it is shaped in a purpose-built machine to produce the final shape. The laminations have been carefully designed to give great strength to the handle.
